It has been my custom up until now to include the corresponding verse only when the total written value was 20 or greater, It's been one of those things that has crossed my mind many a time, should I or shouldn't I do the corresponding verses that are less than 20, I stayed on 20 to keep the factors consistent throughout, the same way each time.
The word "optional" just came to mind, That settles it for me.... Am I going to include Genesis 1:1 every time a one occurs within a verse, no, But if you are so inclined to put in all the corresponding verses, then that's your option.
